This stunning 4-star hotel is located in one of the best areas of Barcelona. Enjoy a touch of luxury and comfort during your stay in Barcelona. H10 Hotels is a luxury hotel chain with over 60 hotels in 23 different locations in Spain and internationally!

HOTEL DETAILS

LOCATION

The H10 Marina Barcelona is perfectly located in the Olympic Village, close to both the beach and the city center. The Sagrada Familia is less than a 30-minute walk away, and the popular Barceloneta beach is 20 minutes away. If you prefer to take a cab, you can always find one right outside the hotel! Meanwhile, the Bogatell metro station is only 220 meters away.

Just across the street there are a couple of nice cafes where you can have a nice cup of coffee before heading out. Check out Ca L’Eric Cafe Bar Vermuteria and Cafeteria 365! For eating out, find plenty of restaurants along the Carrer de la Marina street!

If you you’re looking to buy some essentials or snacks, you can find Lidl just 5 minutes away along with many other food supermarkets!

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Check-in and check-out was quick and easy! We each received a key card and were informed of all the necessary information about breakfast, spa and local activities. You can check in from 14:00, while check out is at 12:00.

If you arrive before the room is ready, you can leave your luggage in a secure storage room. Inside the hotel, you can enjoy a drink at the bar or grab a cup of coffee while you’re waiting around.

ROOMS

There are 4 different types of rooms you can reserve at H10 Marina Barcelona. A standard double room, Deluxe Room, Privilege Junior Suite and Privilege Junior Suite with terrace. During my stay, I have reserved a standard double room.

The room felt very clean, cozy, and comfortably spacious. On both sides of the bed, you can find a bed side table with plugs and a light switch. There is also a desk and a huge mirror in the room. You can enjoy the TV with many different channels (including English).

The bathroom was very spacious and spotless. A hair dryer, separate makeup mirror and toiletries were available. During your stay you will receive daily housekeeping.

One of the most important things when I travel, is that I always look for a secure place to keep some of my important belongings. Luckily, all rooms at the hotel have an electronic safe and a storage space for your clothes! Another great amenity is the mini-fridge. You can enjoy snacks and drinks in the refrigerator provided by the hotel! Just remember that these will be charged at the end of your stay.

PRIVILEGE JUNIOR SUITE

If you are looking for a luxurious experience, be sure to book the Privilege Junior Suite! These are beautiful, open-plan rooms with large windows and the best views of the city. The rooms also have some extra amenities like a complimentary Nespresso coffee machine with daily refills, a complimentary mini-bar, and an exclusive welcome gift!

Other privileges you will receive include 10% discount at Despacio Spa Centre, personalised check-in and check-out, access to the exclusive Privilege Lounge and much more!

BREAKFAST & DINING

Make sure to check out Dionissos Restaurant! Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:30. You can enjoy a delicious continental breakfast in this à la carte restaurant! The restaurant offers a wide selection of fresh fruits, pastries, breakfast cereals, eggs, and much more.

Lunch is available from 13:00 to 15:30 and dinner from 19:30-22:30.

SERVICE & FACILITIES

At H10 Marina you’ll find a wide range of services and facilities to make your stay unforgettable! One of the best facilities you’ll find at this hotel is the Despacio Spa Centre. Enjoy a selection of personalized and exclusive treatments such as hot stone massages, thermal baths, Turkish bath and Holistic Spa! Finally, you can relax in the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. Another facility you can enjoy is the free gym for hotel guests.

After your wellness stay, you can visit the hotel bar La Llum, which specializes in trendy cocktails and classics. In the evening, go to the Skyline Terrace, where you can enjoy another cocktail at the terrace bar with a magnificent view of the city and the sea. Don’t miss the magical sunsets at Skyline Terrace! You can also find an outdoor swimming pool at the Skyline Terrace!

FINAL THOUGHTS

Staying at this hotel over New Year was a magical experience! The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, especially the gorgeous Christmas tree in the lobby. The entire staff was very accommodating and pleasant in their interactions with guests. The hotel overall has a great atmosphere, and we loved the convenience of the location!

However, this hotel will always be a special place to remember as I got engaged here on New Year’s Eve ??… The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my fiancé in his proposal! 😉
